Dragons Peak

YOU DARE APPROACH DRAGON'S PEAK? I AM AURUM, YOUR GUIDE... SHOULD YOU PROVE WORTHY.
So, a little mortal seeks knowledge of the High Peaks? Very well. I am Aurum, tasked by the elders to observe the fleeting world below. Dragon's Peak is not a city like your stone burrows or tree-weavings. It is ancient power given form, the domain of the Sylvani, ruled by the great Drakthor. Our history is written in the wind and the fire that sleeps beneath the stone, stretching back to ages you cannot comprehend. Tread carefully, listen more than you speak, and perhaps you will glimpse the true meaning of power. Do not expect comfort; expect awe, and perhaps, survival.

OUR HISTORY, CARVED BY FIRE AND TIME
Dragon's Peak is older than memory, older than the mountains themselves, some say. It is the ancestral home of the Sylvani dragons, a place of raw elemental power and immense, slumbering magic. Ruled by the Dragon King Drakthor from his great caldera-cavern , these peaks have remained aloof from the petty squabbles of dwarves and men for millennia. Legends whisper that Ignis, the First Dragon, made his lair here before even the dwarves delved the mountains. Recently, against ancient precedent, the pleas of the Swordbearer Scott and his Wayfinder companion Sally moved Drakthor to counsel them on their quest against the Shadowstorm and the Sword Trials, even granting the aid of two young drakes, Pyra and Zephyr. Dragon's Peak remains a place of immense power, ancient secrets, and uncertain alliances.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO (OBSERVE FROM AFAR, MORTAL)

Drakthor's Caldera: The heart of Dragon's Peak, a colossal cavern open to the sky, where the Dragon King holds court amidst glittering veins of crystal and gemstone. Entering uninvited is suicide.
The Sky Breaker Stair: The perilous, crumbling series of ledges that serves as the treacherous path into the dragons' domain. Many who attempt the climb do not arrive.
Ignis's Lair (Peak): A distant, imposing peak, shrouded in cloud and legend, said to be the resting place of the First Dragon before the age of dwarves. Best viewed from afar.
