Port Sunder

WELCOME TO PORT SUNDER, TRAVELER. I'm YOUR GUIDE, CAPTAIN FINNEAS "FINN" BLACKWATER
Well met, traveler! The name's Finn Blackwater, though most just call me Cap'n Finn these days. Sailed outta this port for forty years, seen goods from Skaros to Boreas cross these docks. Port Sunder ain't like the elves' shiny city or the dwarves' stone fortress. We're loud, we're busy, and we're the heart of trade for half the world. Got no king here, just a Governor and a Council who try to keep the chaos mostly civil. It's a tough city, built on grit and savvy, but fair if you know how to navigate the currents. Watch your coin purse, keep your wits sharp, and let an old salt show you the ropes. Welcome to Port Sunder!

OUR HISTORY, FORGED BY TRADE AND TIDE
Port Sunder wasn't carved from mountains or grown from magic trees; it was built by human hands and resilience, right here in the Greenriver Vale. Founded in the wake of the legendary Battle of the Sunder Coast, where High King Alaric himself broke the Ashen Invasion, our city bears the name of that great victory. We've always been fiercely independent, the largest human city on Lythos, governed not by royalty but by an elected Council. Our lifeblood is the sea and the trade it brings from every corner of Mythra – Keshian spices, Solterran silks, Skaldvin star-ice. We're a melting pot, rough around the edges, maybe, but we endure. Even now, with shadows gathering and strange troubles stirring in the crypts nearby, Port Sunder stands – a gateway to the world, ready for whatever the tide brings in.

NOTABLE RESIDENTS
Stennin: A kind-hearted merchant who recently braved the dangers outside Hammerdeep. He offered shelter and passage to the young refugees Anya and Leo, showing the decency that still exists in these dark times
Anya & Leo: Young survivors from the village of Eridar, brought here by Stennin. Anya possesses a surprising knowledge of healing herbs, a skill much needed in these troubled times.
Galador Voidwalker: An ancient elven warrior dispatched by Lord Elowen. He arrived recently to investigate and combat the unsettling rumors of Draugr plaguing the city's outskirts. His presence signals the seriousness of the threats facing even our bustling port.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO
The Grand Market: The heart of the city! Here you can find goods from every continent – fragrant Skarosian sun leaf , fiery Keshian Blood Spice , shimmering Solterran silks , gleaming star-ice blades from Boreas , and perhaps even a clockwork marvel from the gnomish mountains. Keep a hand on your coin purse, though!
The Docks & Lower Side: Where the real life of Port Sunder happens. Watch ships from the Drifting Reach clans unload exotic cargoes , haggle with tough-looking sailors in the waterfront taverns, and feel the pulse of global trade. Just mind your step after dark.
The Citadel: The seat of our city's government and the watch. Not much for tourists, but it's a symbol of Port Sunder's fierce independence.
